Mayanti Langer

Mayanti Langer was born on 8 February 1985 in Delhi, India. Since her father Sanjeev Langer was an army man in the Indian Army, he grew up in a barrack and used to do various sports activities as a child. During this time, he developed an interest in sports, especially soccer.

Her interest in football grew while She was in the United States. She was on her college football team and became a guest presenter for the FIFA Beach Football broadcast.

With the success of the broadcast, She was inducted as a presenter and associate producer of Football Cafe at Zee Sports. Langer then worked for various football shows on the Zee Network, providing pre-game shows, half-time and post-game commentary and interviews. She was also the host of Zee Sports for the Nehru Cup football tournament held at Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi. She worked as a presenter for Zee Sports coverage of the Indian Cricket League.

She hosted the broadcast of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in India on ESPN, which includes a pregame, half games and postgame analysis. She led a team of expert panelists along with John Dykes for that show. Mayanti Langer also hosted an event in 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi along with Charu Sharma, 2014 Indian Super League, 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup and 2018 India Premier League and 2011 Cricket World Cup.

Mayanti i Langer  wanted to become a graphic designer before becoming a sports journalist. When he first hosted the Football Cafe at Zee Sports, the broadcast became a huge success, and therefore inspired him to move along the same lines.

The Star journalist has over 105k followers on her Twitter account, following only 55 people. Her Instagram account has 216k followers following 146 people.

3. Wife of Stuart Bunny:


The presenter is also the wife of Indian cricketer Stuart Binny. They have been married for almost 6 years and many fans do not know this. She is four months older than Binny, who currently plays for Karnataka.


4. Interest not only in cricket:


She is not the type of person involved with anything. Although we have seen her in many cricket shows, Mayanti also participates in many other shows. She likes to keep an open mind and go with varieties, be it cricket, football, hockey or tennis.


5. 2010 FIFA World Cup held on ESPN:


She hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup which aired in India on ESPN, including a pre, post and half-match analysis. Her ability to analyze and read the game clearly took her to the top and she continued to win contracts after contracts.

During LIVE IPL 2016, Mayawati appeared on the "Cricket Live" program for live broadcast of matches on STARports.com, where she performed analysis with former Indian and international cricketers.

7. Trolled after Wedding:


When Stuart Binny did not perform on the field, Mayanti's name was dragged. Recently, Twitter has reacted to Binny's poor performance by teasing Binny and his journalist wife on a regular basis. However, Mayanti returned strong and responded to the trollers in a beautiful way.
